Veterinary nutrition is an inseparable element of modern care for dogs and cats. At our clinic, we conduct nutritional consultations with a holistic approach — we combine advanced diagnostics of internal diseases with precise nutritional support, basing our recommendations on current scientific research. We believe that properly selected nutrition can not only improve an animal's everyday quality of life, but also genuinely support the treatment of chronic diseases, recovery after procedures, and the maintenance of a healthy body weight throughout the patient's entire life.

Nutritional consultation
A nutritional consultation at our clinic begins with a detailed interview, during which we thoroughly analyse the patient's dietary history, current condition, and lifestyle. We ask about breed, age, body weight, level of physical activity, concurrent diseases, medications taken, and food allergies and intolerances. We assess the nutritional status using the BCS (Body Condition Score) and MCS (Muscle Condition Score) scales, and if necessary we take additional measurements or refer the animal for laboratory tests. The first visit usually lasts 45–60 minutes, because a reliable nutritional diagnosis takes time. The result of the consultation is a written summary with specific recommendations and a schedule for further cooperation. Already after the first visit, the owner knows exactly what to feed their pet, in what portions, and which dietary mistakes to avoid day to day.
Individual nutrition plan
We prepare the nutrition plan strictly according to the individual needs of each patient — we take into account not only age, breed, and condition, but also the animal's taste preferences and the owner's financial and organisational possibilities. The diet may be based on commercial foods (dry, wet, veterinary), home-prepared diets made according to our recipes, or a combination of both approaches. Each recommendation includes exact quantities, a feeding schedule (the number of meals, times of day), recommended supplementation, and guidance regarding snacks and training rewards. We explain why particular ingredients are recommended or advised against in a given case, so that the owner understands the logic of the plan and is able to follow it consciously. In the event of problems or doubts, we stay in touch between visits.

Diet in chronic diseases
Nutritional support for patients with chronic diseases is an important element of the therapy provided — it often directly affects the prognosis and quality of life of the animal. We run dietary plans for dogs and cats with gastrointestinal diseases (IBD, chronic diarrhoea, pancreatitis), kidney failure (CKD), liver conditions, heart failure, diabetes, and hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism. A separate group consists of patients with food allergies and intolerances, in whom we introduce elimination diets and carry out their systematic reintroduction. We work with the veterinarians in charge of a given patient — internal medicine, cardiologist, dermatologist, or oncologist — so that the dietary recommendations fit into the overall treatment plan. We modify the plan on an ongoing basis in response to the results of follow-up tests and the owner's observations.
Nutritional support during recovery
The period after a surgical procedure, during oncological treatment, or in geriatric patients is a time when proper nutrition is of key importance for the body's regeneration. Patients after operations often have a reduced appetite, digestive disorders, or a need for tube feeding — for such situations we prepare diets with increased energy density and feeding schedules that make everyday care easier for the owner. In oncological animals, we focus on maintaining muscle mass, supporting immunity, and alleviating the side effects of chemotherapy. For geriatric patients, we propose diets adapted to a slowed metabolism and the diseases that often accompany age. We regularly monitor progress and adjust the plan as needed — so that the nutritional support genuinely speeds up the return to health.
Body weight control
Overweight and obesity are among the most common lifestyle diseases in dogs and cats — it is estimated that they affect as many as half of all pets in Poland. The consequences include, among others, joint diseases, diabetes, hormonal disorders, cardiac problems, and a shortened lifespan. At our clinic, we run weight-reduction programmes based on a gradual, safe rate of weight loss (usually 1–2% of body weight per week), regular follow-up measurements, and behavioural support for the owner. For underweight patients, we help determine the cause of the too-low body weight (an underlying disease, unsuitable food, incorrect habits) and introduce a plan that will allow the muscle mass and energy reserves to be safely rebuilt. Follow-up visits take place every 2–4 weeks, depending on the dynamics of the changes.
